I value family, community, and relationships. Food from my culture is the center of our gathering, whether it is coffee or hearty meals. I love meeting new people and learning about the different cultures that surrounds me.
My role as a campus minister for fifteen years with Every Nation Global Family of Churches in the Philippines, Asia and in Seattle, WA, changed me to love people of all backgrounds and understand people from different cultures. It confirmed my passion and need to understand cultures from three intersectional vantage points, education, missiology, and culture, which made me pursue and finished a doctorate in Intercultural Studies.
I write my thoughtful reflections about interculturality on my blog page. Click the button below if you are curious.
